The Way

There are many ways but one true destination. Like the spokes of a wheel one day we will all meet at our final destination. What awaits us there is up to us. We must choose the right way to live and die. Whatever you’re spiritual or philosophical persuasion is you must choose a way, follow your path, and face the battles of the day.

We must be mindful that facts can change but truth is consistent and universal. The Inquisitions of yesterday were fueled by facts and superstition which lead to genocide. Today the term fake news has been coined which fuels conspiracy theories. These theories are modern superstitious rhetoric which are fueling today’s mental, social, and linguistic abnormalities.

We can now say that humanity has lost its way as seen in the many ways dataism and social engineering is reshaping the natural world. How else can the current climate crisis be explained? Today’s society has become sophisticated in promoting the propaganda of modern linguistic superstitions.

Recent studies confirm that falsehoods almost always beat out the truth on Twitter, penetrating further, faster, and deeper into the social network than accurate information.

Jonathan Swift once wrote. “Falsehood flies, and the Truth comes limping after it. Vision is the art of seeing things invisible. When a true genius appears in this world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him”.

To reflect on his words you may ask yourself, how do I want to live my life? One answer is that we must develop emotional intelligence and mental hygiene in order to redesign the information ecosystem in the 21st century.

The Battle of One Day

Today I begin the battle of one day
I must face the fact that I am alone on this field
With all the support of demons and gods at my beck and call
To whom do I bend my knee
Will it be ghost flesh or circumspect

Behold the flavor of trance
What is my palate craving this day
What passion or lost cause fills me with sentiment
When opportunity knocks who is looking
And when the door is opened who awaits the fugitive of a time gone by

Is free will a deterrent to better days
Or will tomorrow arrive in the light of a new day
The spoils of life are many
Reminders of days gone by with its purpose hanging in the balance
Waiting for the fullness of time to be named by the trumpet of heralds

Is this another seduction of my soul
Or a baptism of loves chosen forgiveness
So many questions to so many of the day’s conflicts
When at first you don’t succeed
Surrender is not the only option

Press on to the high ground
Rest at days end not during the battle of the day
Then tomorrow will rise in a new light
And you will have progressed
Bloodied but alive to fight another day

This is the currency of life
To struggle amid its mishaps in the sanctuaries of the ignorant
Be careful not to make a purchase amid the bliss of ignorance
For this is the simple reward of a soul
Condemned to die amidst the folly of friends in low places

Rather take for yourself the precepts of a warrior
Destined to make peace among slaves
For the battles of the day can only be won
By the courage of virtue
And the lasting sentiments of love

Today I will make the warriors pledge
To give my life for peace and to give peace to the lifeless
From this moment forward
May I live by the warrior’s code
To give life and not abuse it

To battle ignorance
And not bend the knee
To live each days ending as a free man
And accept the wounds of the day as a badge of fidelity
To what is right, blissful and never-ending

And when my time to leave this earth presents itself
I face it lovingly
Knowing I did my best within my given state of grace
As the day’s battle rages on tomorrow and the next
I am confident the pearl of God’s peace justice and love will be my reward

Therefore I will carry God’s banner into battle
And await the medal of truth
That it will be placed on my chest
By the One ineffable sovereign
Of eternal life and love
